Typically we don’t do any weddings in Fiji during this time of year, but after talking to Katie we decided we’d Kick off the year with a beautiful Island wedding at Octopus Resort! It was a gorgeous day out on the island and everyone was enjoying the beautiful surroundings. There were quite a few DIY projects in this wedding to make it special. While Katie was taking care of last minute details, Ash was creating the wedding arch with the help of his dad and some friends. Katie’s and Ash’s mum were creating the tropical bridal bouquets, and Katie’s mum also created her beautiful crown of flowers.
With it being summer here in Fiji, it can get pretty hot. We were lucky enough that the wind was blowing all day to keep us cool, and add a little excitement when trying to tame the dress and hair 🙂 Katie looked absolutely stunning dressed in white, set against the beautiful tropical Island! And Ash looked like the star of a Tommy Bahamas ad campaign! It was a picture perfect day and night with Ash and Katie surrounded by family and friends to share in their celebrations!
