Cheers & Tears: Crickets and A-Frames

I’ve decided to start a new blog post that will show up every so often, called “Cheers & Tears”.  This will be a fun little post to highlight random highs and lows in my day to day life.  Just to mix things up a bit 🙂

This weeks Cheers go to:

*  Meeting Clients in person before the wedding day!  We met with 2 this week and it was so great to be able to meet face to face before walking into their room while getting ready as a complete stranger!

*  Skype.  Thanks to Skype I was able to talk to my brother in Afghanistan last night!

*  New Waves being born!  Since the flooding, a river that never flowed into the ocean because it was blocked by land, broke through and opened up a new river mouth creating one of the most fun waves I’ve surfed!  A perfect little A Frame!  I don’t know how long this wave will be around, but since it’s here, Cheers to that!!!

This weeks Tears go to:

*  Hidden Crickets:  There’s been a cricket that chirps right when I’m trying to get to sleep.  Can’t find him and can’t get rid of him!

*  The water turning off.  I’ve lost count of how many days we’ve been without water since the flooding.  Thankfully this last little stint of the water being off is during the day so if we stay up late enough, we can fill bottles up.  I like to think I’m pretty low maintenance, but a girl needs her shower to run!  Next time I’m bringing my shampoo and conditioner out in the surf!  😉

Wishing you a wonderful week!
