Zoe & Daniel were only in Fiji for short time and in Nadi for less than 24 hours, but we were able to get them out on to a beautiful sandbar and into some crystal clear water! They were stopping over on a cruise and we were lucky enough to meet up with them! A little from their perspective:
Tell us your story: I was backpacking through Canada and was living at a hostel in Toronto, Dan arrived from England and stayed at the same hostel we became friends and moved out together with a bunch of other backpackers then traveled around Canada together before coming to Australia and starting a life together here :). Christmas 2012 we flew to England and surprised all of Dan’s family and Dan took me for a walk and proposed.
Only chose Fiji as this is where Stu and Malia are. Once we were booked in with Stu and Malia we looked into holidays to Fiji and ended up booking a cruise that stopped in Fiji.
How did you decide you wanted to do an Underwater Portrait Session with Stu & Malia? I always wanted to do a trash the dress photo shoot when I got married – after googling ‘trash the dress photo shoot’ and found Stu and Malia’s website we were sold!!! I emailed through an inquiry almost straight away 🙂
I would say I am a good swimmer but cannot hold my breath for a long time and Dan would be an average swimmer (guess that is what happens when you live in England and not surrounded by water haha)
Zoe – Getting changed into my wedding dress on a sand bar and just how beautiful the water was and how surprisingly easy it was to swim in my dress. Dan – Standing at the back of the boat and jumping in!
