We love getting together with couples who are celebrating their anniversary!  Elle & Jonny were married back at home but came to Fiji to celebrate their 2 year anniversary and jumped at the chance of doing an underwater session!  Elle brought her wedding dress out with her so she could fulfill her dreams of being a mermaid 🙂  Being a hot day, we decided to just do a few photos on land.  We spent 5 minutes in the sugar cane before jumping on the boat to get to the real fun!  Elle & Jonny did such a great job out in the water!  We had so much fun with them!

What was the occasion for the underwater portrait session?

It was our 2 year wedding anniversary and I really wanted to do a wreck your dress photo shoot, while taking advantage of the beautiful surrounds and a one in a lifetime chance to do a underwater photo shoot with 2 great photographers!

How would you classify your comfort level in the water?

We’re both very confident in the water.  In my past life I was a mermaid ~Elle

What was the most memorable part of the session?

We were amazed at how beautiful and blue the water was!  Arriving to our shoot location we were in awe of how perfect it looked!

Is there anything you wish you knew before the session?  Any advice for future underwater adventurer’s?

Open your eyes, cos you’ll have memories you’ll never forget.  And it doesn’t hurt!

How did you dress end up?

Cleaner than it went in!

Anything else you want to mention or share?

Stu and Malia made us both feel very comfortable and were great at guiding us during the shoot!  Such an unforgettable experience!

 

Take two of the dive!  On the first jump Elle dove and Jonny wanted to make sure he got to dive in as well.  So at the end of the session we did a second dive!  The light of the day had really changed up on us too!
