Remember Jess & Rik from their beautiful Shangri-La wedding a while back?  Well at the end of their honeymoon (the very end, which I don’t recommend), we got together again for a little fun in the sun… that is, we were hoping for sun.  We boated out to a little sandbar in the middle of the ocean for their trash the dress session.  The weather was looking dark and ominous but we made it out there just as the clouds parted.  We couldn’t have brought in better light!  The sun lit up the sand, water, and our gorgeous couple… and the clouds in the sky made for a very dramatic background!  I was in LOVE!

Rik and Jess did a fantastic job in and out of the water.  And they were such troopers on the boat ride back.  The wind made for some pretty rough seas and we had limited time.  We had to get them to the airport in time to check in for their flight home (like I said, I don’t recommend doing a trash the dress session the same day you fly out.  Unless of course you like the excitement of not knowing if you’re going to make your flight :).  For those of you wondering, we got them back in time to be the very last to check in.
