Charles & Jen’s Royal Davui Island Resort Elopement was amazing!  It was the perfect location for them to say their I-Do’s.  Fiji has so many little islands and boutique resorts to choose from, but Royal Davui is definitely one of the best locations to elope in Fiji!

Planning their Elopement

Charles and Jen traveled all the way from the states to Fiji to get away from the hustle and bustle of life in the city.  Leading the busy lives that they do at home, they wanted to make sure that they had a relaxing, worry-free holiday.  They also wanted their wedding to be simple and stress-free.  Royal Davui provided exactly that for them.

Getting Ready

Wanting to ensure there be no stress, Charles & Jen opted to start their photos at the ceremony and not have any while getting ready.  They continued to keep things simple with Jen doing her own hair and make-up.  She looked absolutely stunning!

The Ceremony

Kimi from Royal Davui is in charge of weddings there and always does a wonderful job of arranging and setting up the ceremony venue.  They had an intimate little ceremony on the beach just below their hillside Villa!  It was simple and beautiful.  Following the ceremony, we were all able to jump on a boat and head out to the sand quay where a beautiful lounge area was set up for them, complete with some bubbly for them to celebrate!

The Bride & Groom

After the ceremony on our way out to the sand quay, we had a chance to chat with Jen & Charles about the prep and planning.  Jen said  “This is exactly what I had pictured when I dreamed about our wedding day!  I wanted it to be just us on a beautiful beach saying our vows to each other.  This has been absolutely perfect!  When we saw your website and photos, I knew we had to do whatever it would take to book you!  We feel so lucky to have you here as our photographers!”

We continued photos out on the beautiful sand quay and then ventured into the crystal clear water for some underwater portraits of the two of them!  The pristine white sand make for the perfect location for underwater photos!
