Tara & Mumbles journeyed all the way from Canada to have a simple and intimate Royal Davui Fiji Elopement.  Royal Davui is the perfect place to tie the knot in Fiji if you’re looking for a private ceremony, beautiful location, and friendly staff workers!  This little island out from Pacific Harbour is a piece of paradise for sure.  With only 16 villas on the entire island, it’s a peaceful escape from the world back home.

We arrived by boat to the island where we met Tara & Mumbles for the first time.  They were enjoying a leisurely morning before they would need to start getting ready for their afternoon ceremony.  They opted not to see each other for a First Look, but instead of having Mumbles get ready in a completely different villa, he was able to get ready in the lounge of their villa while Tara got her hair & Make-up done in the bedroom.  The villas at Royal Davui are so nice and spacious with large decks overlooking the ocean, which makes getting ready together without seeing each other nice and easy.  Once Mumbles was ready, he headed down to the beach ceremony venue to wait for Tara to make her way down the aisle.

Sparky the celebrant officiated their wedding giving great advice and giving them the time to read their own personal vows to each other.  It was a beautiful ceremony with just the five of us!  We were even their witnesses to sign their marriage certificate 🙂  Following the ceremony we explored the island together taking portraits of them around the resort grounds.

Royal Davui has always been a favourite of ours!  Such a magical little island!
