It was those icy blue eyes that first got me.  He was running to get to the surf and slowed down to a walk when he got to me.  We chatted a bit, then he was off running again.  We were heading out to the same spot so I knew we’d see each other in the water.  I turned to my friend and told her how cute I thought he was.  He was refreshing.  Full of life and energy, and in those three minutes of talking, we already had so much in common.  We grew up 30 miles away from each other in California, we’d been to the same place at the same time, but never met until we were walking along the beach in Hawaii.  I like it better that way.

 

 

 

Stuart is a huge part of my business.  He supports me wholeheartedly in everything I do and is my assistant/second shooter for weddings and other shoots.  Here he is at our last wedding:

Not only is he becoming a great wedding photographer but he is such an amazing surf photographer!  A crazy big swell has been hitting Fiji the last few days so we have seen some incredible waves coming through.  Stuart has been in the water shooting and getting some beautiful photos!
