Australian couples Destination Wedding at the Outrigger Fiji

This Australian couples Destination Wedding at the Outrigger Fiji Resort proved to be an event no one will soon forget! After months of planning the big day had finally arrived! Chase and Aimee’s closest family and friends gathered at the Bebe chapel over looking the pacific ocean and the Outrigger property. This is where Chase and Aimee exchanged vows and a first kiss to start their life together as husband and wife.

Chase and his groomsmen passed the time before the ceremony in truly authentic style. Sipping on cold coronas, kept chilled by their custom beer-cozies, they re-told classic tales from their past. Though lighthearted and playful, Chase was almost instantly introspective as he rolled the sleeves of the dress shirt. It was like he was thinking, “this is the shirt I’m getting married in.” His colorful tattoos, unruly hair and casual khaki shorts juxtaposed perfectly with a clean blue-buttoned formal shirt and a matching bow-tie. He was both authentically happy go lucky while showing solemn readiness and respect to the vows they would shortly exchange. Chase was ready.

Joining Aimee in getting ready was two of her dearest friends and her soon to be sister in law. She was truly glowing with joy as she peered over her shoulder at her reflection in the mirror. She was in her wedding dress! A beautiful white gown by Grace Loves Lace, with a stunning low back that would take Chases breath away. It was time to go. With all the guests inside the chapel, it was only Aimee and her father left to go inside. The giant butterfly carved wooden doors were swung open and Chase saw his bride. Aimee’s father tried hard to hold back the tears welling in his eyes and just managed to deliver her to Chase before he lost it.

The ceremony itself was short and sweet, and the Fiji sunlight was warm and bright. It was a perfect canvas for Malia and I to capture the excitement and newness of such a beautiful union. We are so grateful to have been apart of this wedding and wish Chase and Aimee nothing but happiness in the years to come.
